Pick n' Place: Los Palitos

By utilizing advanced computational tools, the workflow begins with scanning irregular wood pieces to capture their unique geometries. These geometries are then processed into a digital library for optimization and design adaptation. Through the integration of packing algorithms and robotic precision, the wood offcuts are sorted and arranged into intricate, functional patterns that minimize waste. This approach highlights the potential of reimagining discarded materials through technology, ensuring zero-waste production while preserving the natural character of the wood.
