Helia is the culmination of the 2025 3D Printing Architecture Postgraduate at IAAC. Helia is the study and use of in-situ excavated Earth as a construction material, taking into account parameters such as thermal mass, sun exposure, rain protection.

Through the utilization of 3D Printed technologies, space within a wall can be optimized to allow for all these parameters to fully enhance architectural features that otherwise could be costly to produce.
